Dougherty Christmas & Silver Dollar City

We had an entire day of family fun and Christmas celebration on Sunday.  We started bright and early at Grandpa Docs with monkey bread, breakfast sandwiches and OJ before diving into the presents.  Again, Addison was completely spoiled and is becoming a pro at opening presents.

We got Landon a couple of gifts but I think this one was the clear favorite...a zip-up hoodie that zips completely up over his face and makes him look like a vampire?!  I don't know I guess it's all the rage with the kids these days.  Maybe clothes for Christmas isn't too bad after all...

After we were done with presents we loaded up the car and headed to Silver Dollar City for an afternoon of rides and evening of Christmas lights.  It was a beautiful day for Silver Dollar City.  We got there right before the park opened and left shortly after the big lighting ceremony for the gigantic Christmas tree at the front of the park.

Although we brought the stroller she preferred to walk around like the big people :)

Despite minimal naps, Addison was a trooper all day -- until we set her on Santa's lap!  Ha.  We waved to Santa while we were in line, blew him kisses and were all smiles...but then we got on stage and mom left and she lost it  Oh well, I guess I didn't really expect anything less!
