Even with a 2 week vacation it's been another very busy month in the Made By M.E. kitchen!

And I am in the middle of 3 small cookie orders to round out the month.  I'll post them when I'm finished.

21 Month Update

Developments this month...

• She is putting phrases together and surprising us everyday with what she says and repeats...favorites this month -- "This...Addie's water.  This...Mommy's water.  This...Daddy's water." & "Mommy tinkling"   & "Nappy, swimmie, nappy, swimmie"
• She adds an extra "ie" or "y" at the end of most words in her vocabulary -- nappy, swimmie, handie, Peepie, cuppie, the list goes on and on...
• She has 16 teeth
• She is wearing a size 4 diaper
• She is wearing some 18-24 month clothing and some 24/2T clothing
• She is a regular fish now in the pool and wakes up from her nap asking to put on her swim suit (zu-zu) and saying "nappy, swimmie, nappy, swimmie"
• She loves going to the park and could 'wing' (aka swing) all day long but sometimes she will take a break from 'winging' to go down the slide
• Her favorite foods continue to be hot dogs, noodles and cucumbers but she also eats plenty of melon, peas, ham, mac & cheese, pretzels, pancakes and yogurt
• She counts to 2 (actually 3 now but that didn't happen until after the 21 month mark)
• She sings her ABCs and it still regresses and progresses each day
• Her love for Elmo is still going strong but she is branching out and also enjoys Mickey Mouse and Thomas the Train
• Her favorite sport this month is baseball.  She went to a Milwaukee Brewer's game and a Grand Rapids Whitecap's game this month.  She says "swing batter, batter" and "throw the ball" and found a baseball glove at the house that she wears around

Our Tour of the Midwest

So instead of the 12+ posts that I wanted to write, recapping every single exciting detail about our 2 week trip through the Midwest, you will have to settle for this one post with less words and more pictures.  Since we have been home for nearly as long as we were gone and the only place I've written the details down is in my pretty little head, I'm better off going this route so we can move on to bigger and better things...like the rest of our summer!

Here we go...

Now, I have to get Addison's 21 month updated posted before she turns 22 months and I'm sure everyone is on the edge of their seats waiting for a Made By M.E. update because I've been busy in the kitchen too.

Just Keep Swimming...Swimming...Swimming

We've got a little fish on our hands!  After about 10 days straight of swimming in the backyard, Addison is a little fish and will jump of the step and 'swim' underwater to us and then swim back to the steps.

And of course, she is still a huge fan of jumping from the side and having Daddy throw her up in the air.
