Children's Christmas Train
Saturday was the annual Children's Christmas Train, what a wonderful tradition. I designed the ticket again this year.
And despite a very cold and snowy morning we were able to make it to Springdale and Addison had a wonderful time riding the train and seeing Santa Clause. Addison was calling out "All Aboard" as we rode along and danced along to the Christmas carols. As predicted, she wasn't a huge fan of Santa the closer he came to her but from a distance she loved him and even managed to blurt out what she wanted Santa to bring her...but more on that later.

Let It Snow!
Snow...Snow...Snow!
This morning I finished up a cookie order, cute little snowmen...melted snowmen.
Addison had a "snowman" breakfast. I was calling it a "snowday" breakfast but she insisted it was "snowman" and I guess that made sense as the little powder donuts did stack nicely to make a snowman.
Addison saw the snow when she woke up and said "get sled down" and "make snowman"...so we went outside to do those two things. It was VERY cold so we didn't stay out long. We got the sled down first and went for a quick ride in the undisturbed snow. Only the paper man had driven thru the neighborhood and his tracks had almost disappeared. The request to make a snowman was a little harder as the snow was very fluffy. But Addison carried around her carrot and dad found some wetter snow by the street and made a snowman for his little girl. Addison helped put the carrot nose, eyes and buttons on the masterpiece.
