This is a special picture because we have the same picture in front of the same statue from when we were kids. Its right at the front of the zoo, right before the entrance...so we had to stop and take one with the girls.
Everyone had a great time...Addison hung out in the stroller the entire time and kept herself hydrated with her sippie full of water. After the trip to the zoo she had mastered the sippie/straw cup and now drinks her water out of it all the time.
Everyone enjoyed the animals and learned a little something...even the big kids!
This is the last picture I took because literally 60 seconds after I took it the skies opened up and we got soaked. We stood under a tree for about 5 minutes thinking it would pass quickly...guess what, it didn't!? So we were a sight for soar eyes...running, pushing strollers and trying to cover our heads with reusable shopping bags, changing pads or whatever else we could find in the strollers and diaper bags. We ran past the parrots and they were laughing at us -- true story!
